Lehigh Valley My Brother's Keeper Fund

The Lehigh Valley My Brother's Keeper (LVMBK) initiative strives to reach milestones across programs, policies, and practices that will deliver positive results for our youth.

As a regional community, it is up to us to work collaboratively across government, academia, the private and public sectors, clergy, families and neighborhoods to close opportunity gaps and strengthen outcomes for all Lehigh Valley youth, especially Black and Latino boys and men, to achieve their full potential.

In January 2016, a grant from Lehigh County established the Lehigh Valley My Brother's Keeper Fund at the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation to support the LVMBK initiative.  Since then, additional donors have contributed to this call to action.

"That's what my brother's keeper is all about. Helping more of our young people stay on track. Providing the support they need to think more broadly about their future. Building on what works, in those critical life changing moments." - President Barack Obama, February 27, 2014
