As of July, the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation has begun to work with a new database for prospective donors, non-profit organizations and the community that will replace the Catalog in the upcoming months.
The Lehigh Valley Community Platform is a web-based tool to learn more about the organizations and community needs of the Lehigh Valley. The Platform provides information on charitable organizations. Those wishing to volunteer, contribute, and/or collaborate with organizations and individuals dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Lehigh Valley will find the Community Platform a wonderful resource.
This online service is a partnership of the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation and the Lehigh Valley Research Consortium. The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation is maintaining the Platform with the assistance of the National Center for Charitable Statistics. The Community Platform replaces the Foundation's Philanthropy Catalog
If you are a non-profit and you need the information in the Platform updated you can either create an account or contact Corrina Passaro at firstname.lastname@example.org to update the information. This new source will be used to bring non-profit services and the community together.
The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation has created and is maintaining the on-line Philanthropy Catalog as a reference tool for Lehigh Valley residents and prospective donors. The Foundation has received its information from the non-profit organizations listed in the catalog. The Foundation does not endorse, nor is it responsible for, the accuracy of the information, the services, or the representations of any of the non-profit organizations reflected in the catalog. Additionally, the information may change from time to time without the knowledge of the Foundation. The reader should always verify the information provided with the intended non-profit organization.
