The Sanctuary is a community resource which enriches the lives of its resident animals and members of the community in an environmentally sound facility by:
promoting programs that encourage interaction between people and animals to the benefit of both;
providing for animals needing a temporary or permanent home in a humane and respectful way;
showcasing the sustainability of “green” architecture and planning.
