Information

Cops 'n' Kids Children’s Literacy Program

• provide free books for children to own
• encourage positive relationships between children and the community
• support early intervention by providing free books for children in pre-school years—birth through kindergarten
• distribute free books to young people at the elementary and middle school level and supplement libraries in schools and other child-centered organizations
• bring the community into the schools to demonstrate to our children our commitment to their future
• maintain a Reading Room in conjunction with Northampton Community College at the NCC Fowler Family Southside Center, offering free events and providing free books
