Mission

The mission of the Carl & Emily Weller Center for Health Education is to measurably improve children's lives by giving students the tools they need to make informed and healthy life choices. The Center offers more than 30 programs in growth and development, hygiene, nutrition and fitness, drug prevention and character education. All programs are outcome-based and correlated with PA and NJ academic standards and may be customized based on the needs of students, teachers and administrators. The Center partners with school districts to provide needs assessment services through the administration of customized student health risk behavior surveys.

The Weller Health Education Center offers evidence-based programs for students in grades pre-K through 12 in the following topics:

• Reproductive Health and Hygiene
• Character Education and Bullying Prevention
• Addiction Prevention

Locations: The Weller Health Education Center serves 39 counties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
