William & Carol Kreitz Fund

In 2016, the William & Carol Kreitz Fund was established by former Bethlehem Area Foundation Board of Governors member, William Kreitz, and his wife, the late Carol Kreitz. The donor-advised fund will provide grants to charitable programs and organizations in the region.

William Kreitz is a graduate of Kutztown University and the Certified Insurance Counselors Institute.  He is the President and a Board Member at HMK Insurance Company.  William also extends his community involvement to the Bethlehem Rotary, Bethany United Church of Christ Growth Committee, and the Insurance Alliance of Central Pennsylvania.

Carol Kreitz was a graduate of Parkland High School and Kutztown State College, where she received her B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.Ed. Degree in Elementary Guidance Counseling.  For 21 years, she was a teacher at Governor Wolf Elementary School and later served as the school district’s Homebound Instructor. Carol was an avid member of her church at Bethany United Church of Christ until her passing on December 18, 2016.

The Kreitz’s community commitment will continue to be recognized through the establishment of this fund.
