Grants from Other Funds

A number of charitable funds at the Community Foundation have special focuses for grantmaking and invite appropriate non-profits to apply for grants. These funds include:

The Richard E. Gasser Fund
This fund provides grants to benefit programs, organizations, and residents in the Upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania, area. The grants are made to support programs and projects which enhance interest, education, and achievements in technology, science, and technology-related fields.


The Margaret Haas Rotunno Memorial Fund for Local No Kill Shelters
This fund provides grants to "no kill" shelters in Bucks, Northampton, and Lehigh Counties for their charitable programs, particularly to help promote spay and neuter awareness, low-cost and/or subsidized spay and neutering programs, and to help promote and publicize an indoor-only lifestyle for domestic felines.



The Lehigh Valley Helping Hand Fund
This fund provides grants for Lehigh Valley charitable programs and organizations that meet the needs of those who "fall through the cracks" in the provision of social and human services.

The Erwin J. and Gertrude K. Neusch Fund
This fund provides grants for charitable programs which benefit residents of Upper Bucks County, specifically those in the geographic area served by the Quakertown and Palisades School Districts. The programs of interest to the Neusch Fund are primarily, but not exclusively, in arts (including industrial arts), education, and rural life.

The Outdoor Recreation Fund for Youth
This fund provides grants for outdoor recreation programs for urban disadvantaged youths in the greater Lehigh Valley.  Please contact the Foundation for more information about the Fund.

The William C. Rybak Handicapped Citizens Fund
This fund provides grants for charitable programs and organizations which provide assistance to handicapped citizens of the greater Bethlehem area.

The Glenn M. Taggart Memorial Fund
This fund provides grants to benefit programs and organizations in the Lehigh Valley, PA area. The grants are made to support programs and projects which enahnce commulity revitalization through music, art, education and technology. Procedures for these grants are being developed.
