Foundation Announces Neusch Grants Available
The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation has announced the opening of its competitive grants application process for 2012. A philanthropic fund begun by a Bucks County artist will provide approximately $28,270 in grants this year to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations in the Upper Bucks area. The Erwin J. and Gertrude K. Neusch Fund provides grants for projects in the Upper Bucks region, particularly those that benefit residents in areas served by the Palisades and Quakertown School Districts. Neusch grant applications can be downloaded from the Foundation’s website at: http://www.lvcfoundation.org. Completed grant application forms can be emailed to ron@lvcfoundation.org or faxed or mailed. Mailed applications must be postmarked no later than September 4, 2012. Emailed applications, faxed applications or personally-delivered applications must be received at the Foundation’s offices before 5:00 p.m., September 4, 2012.
The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation enables donors, including individuals, families, businesses, private foundations and nonprofits, to establish philanthropic funds that will fulfill their charitable intentions, temporarily or in perpetuity, by providing grants to nonprofit organizations and programs. The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation manages 161 charitable funds representing a total of approximately $34 million in assets. The Foundation awarded $100,000 in grants in the past year from discretionary funds and $1,047,868 from other funds of the Foundation.
