LVCF Names Ashton Galasso as Assistant Director of Operations

Ashton Gallasso, Lehigh Valley Community FoundationAllentown, Pa., July 11, 2018—The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation recently named Ashton Galasso as the Assistant Director of Operations.  In this newly created position, Galasso will assist the Vice President & CFO in managing the finance and operational functions of the Foundation.  In addition, she will provide support for the grants, donor services and communication functions of the organization.

Prior to joining the staff, Galasso served as an Accounting Intern at the Community Foundation since November 2016. She performed a variety of accounting duties and directly assisted the CFO with many operational and finance projects. Galasso also put her accounting skills to work for the community with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, preparing tax returns for low to moderate income households.

A native of Lehighton, Pa., Galasso is a graduate of Moravian College with a B.A. degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Management.  She was a member the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Accounting Honor Society, and Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honor Society of Economics. Galasso was Senior Captain of the Greyhounds’ women’s volleyball team and a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.
