Transfer of Private Funds and Foundations
The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation welcomes the transfer of private funds and foundations. When individual or family circumstances change or when the family no longer wishes to be involved with the administrative costs and duties of such foundations, the family’s philanthropy can continue in perpetuity, in an individual or name, through a fund at the Community Foundation. The family foundation may retain the name ‘foundation’ after being transferred to the Community Foundation.
