Lehigh Valley Homeless Veteran Fund
The Lehigh Valley Homeless Veteran Fund provides grants in support of homeless veteran transitional and supportive housing to agencies that serve veterans in Lehigh and Northampton Counties. Programs offering transitional or supportive housing (up to 24 months) must also provide appropriate services such as case management, education, crisis intervention, financial, housing, and life-skills counseling. Tackling the Opioid Epidemic in the Lehigh Valley
Substance Use Disorder grants support substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery services. In the spring of 2020, the Community Foundation issued three $10,000 grants from the Substance Use Disorder Fund. The Fund helps support organizations that provide support services that focus on integration into a healthy lifestyle for individuals affected by substance use disorder. Nonprofits that deliver clinical services, support services, and/or education to families and support networks of the individual affected by substance use disorder are eligible for funding. The fund supports those providing culturally appropriate substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and/or recovery services for ethnic or racial minority populations. Learn more....
