Attorney Elizabeth Marcon Named to LVCF Board of Governors

Elizabeth MarconAllentown, Pa., March 20, 2018—The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation recently named Elizabeth Marcon to its Board of Governors. Marcon is an associate attorney for the firm Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Cappelli, LLC in Bethlehem, Pa.  Marcon will serve on the Community  Foundation’s Finance Committee and Community Investment Committee.

Marcon currently works on a variety of legal matters including litigation and transactions. Prior to joining Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Cappelli, LLC in 2017, Marcon was an associate attorney for McCumber, Daniels, Buntz, Hartig, Puig & Ross, P.A., practicing in the firm’s Philadelphia area office with a focus on medical malpractice defense and professional liability matters. From 2012 to 2015, Marcon was an associate attorney with the Lehigh Valley office of White and Williams, LLP, focusing her practice in workers’ compensation and construction defect litigation.

Marcon has a strong background in advertising and communications, having worked as a media relations director, a media planner-buyer and a media sales representative in a marketing career prior to law school.

Marcon received a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York and is a member of the Pennsylvania and Northampton County Bar Associations.

Marcon serves on the Board of Directors for the Allentown School District Foundation. She is also a member of the Allentown Symphony Chorus. A native of the Lehigh Valley, Marcon returned in 2011 to begin her legal career. She lives in Salisbury Township with her husband and three children.

The Board of Governors at the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation provide administrative, programmatic, and fiscal oversight in support of the organization's mission. Members of the Board serve as ambassadors, promoting the Community Foundation as a vehicle for philanthropy and a leader of community improvement.
