LVCF Tour of the Easton Community Gardens

LVCF recently toured the Easton Community Gardens, a project funded by a LVCF Community Partnership Grant through the Greater Easton Development Partnership. The Gardens are an urban agriculture program designed to effort to improve residents' access to healthy food in the neighborhood. It is also a magnet for community organizing engages residents to celebrate the neighborhood's outdoor public spaces, thereby promoting social interaction.

Staff from the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation took a tour of some of the public gardens in Easton, Pa. LVCF presented a grant of $25,000 to the Greater Easton Development Partnership in support of the Easton Community Gardens Project 2018.
