Networking and Information Forum to Focus on Upper Bucks Community

Allentown, Pa., May 8, 2019—The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation (LVCF) will hold a special networking and information forum to share information about organizations working to improve the quality of life in Upper Bucks County.  “Improving the Quality of Life in Upper Bucks County” will be held on Thursday, May 9, at the Bucks County Free Library—Quakertown Branch.

The event provides an opportunity for invited guests to network with community leaders and learn about the activities of the Upper Bucks Community Foundation Fund and its parent organization, the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation.  Guests will meet the Fund’s advisory board and celebrate with area nonprofits receiving grants from the Fund.

The program begins at 4:30 p.m. with a welcome and update on the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation by Bernie Story, resident & CEO, LVCF.  Doug Hutchinson, hair of the UBCF Advisory Board, will discuss the mission and funds that are benefiting nonprofits in Upper Bucks.  Special guest Jeffrey Marshall, president of Heritage Conservancy, will provide insight into his organization's work to serve and protect the natural and historic heritage in Bucks County.

The event will serve to celebrate with the Upper Bucks Nonprofit organizations which recently received grants from the Upper Bucks Community Foundation Fund. They include:
