Andrew Budraitis Foundation Scholarship
Building a Better Future, One Person at a Time…
The Andrew Budraitis Foundation Scholarship is a committee-coordinated scholarship fund established at the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation in 2022. The Fund will issue 2 scholarships each year of $7,500 each. One to a Lehigh Valley veteran and one to a Lehigh Valley non-veteran, both with priority given to those with financial need. This scholarship is established in memory of Andrew Budraitis, a lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley, and is intended to pay tribute to him and remember his life.

Below are the application dates for our 2024 scholarships. The application for scholarships will be awarded to students for Fall 2024:

• Awards Announced: Spring 2024
Andy served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division until 1981. After being honorably discharged at the end of his term, Andy worked temporarily at a sod farm before eventually being hired by Air Products and Chemicals. While there, he took night classes at Muhlenberg College, earning his bachelor’s degree within 9 years. His hard work and dedication paid off. Andy excelled within his career at Air Products, leading to global, senior Director positions within Information Technology. He was an incredible leader, mentor to many, and valued advanced education.
