We Make Charitable Giving Easy, Impactful, and Local

The Community Foundation is proud to work with professional advisors—attorneys, accountants, financial planners, and others—in the Lehigh Valley and beyond as they assist their clients in establishing and growing a charitable legacy. Whatever cause your client wishes to support, the Community Foundation can serve as the long-term steward of their charitable giving and the legacy they envision.

LVCF issues the Advisor Connection eNewsletter that provides timely news and resources for professional advisors. Click to see the latest issues

In this July 2026 issue of Advisor Connection, we celebrate Edward J. Lentz, Esq., recipient of LVCF’s 2026 Service to Philanthropy Award, and the trusted role professional advisors play in turning clients’ charitable goals into lasting community impact. We also examine an important planning question: when might a fund at the Community Foundation offer clients greater flexibility and less administrative burden than a private foundation? Explore practical insights to help clients align their assets, values, and legacy plans.

We know professional advisors play a critical role in helping clients align their financial goals with meaningful charitable impact. In this issue we’re highlighting new ways LVCF is recognizing and partnering with advisors to strengthen philanthropy across the Lehigh Valley. Also in this issue spotlights how Cornerstone Advisors has built a collaborative, employee-driven approach to philanthropy through LVCF—an approach that may resonate with families and businesses you advise.
Advisor Connection February 2026
This February 2026 Advisor Connection focuses on how charitable giving can help clients find clarity and purpose during times of change. Inside, we share practical examples for supporting clients through loss, retirement, and other major tax events, along with a “worth a look” feature on charitable gifts of real estate—an increasingly important planning tool as more wealth is held in property rather than cash. We’re also pleased to welcome Angela Connell to LVCF’s Board of Governors and highlight the perspective she brings to our work. A brief technical update on year-end charitable giving is included as well.
