Denise C. Garrity/Compass Point Foundation Fund
The Denise C. Garrity/Compass Point Foundation Fund is a donor-advised fund established in 2022 to provide grants for charitable causes and organizations as recommended by the donor. The primary beneficiary is the Women’s 5K Classic, which provides vital support to women battling breast cancer and their families.
Denise lived a life centered on compassion, generosity, and helping others. She passed away on April 4, 2021, surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy defined by strength, faith, and kindness.
A devoted wife, mother of four, and successful realtor, Denise balanced her career and family with grace. She embraced life fully—whether dancing at concerts, planning cherished family trips to the Outer Banks, or facing her own cancer journey with courage and determination. She believed deeply in showing up for others, especially during life’s most difficult moments.
Through this work, Denise’s legacy of compassion and generosity continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
