Maureen Wendling, CAP®

Maureen Connolley Wendling, CAP® is a nonprofit executive with more than 25 years of experience in asset development, strategic planning, relationship management, and team leadership. She has a proven track record of building strategic partnerships, increasing organizational capacity, and creating sustainable impact across higher education, the arts, and social services.
Maureen joined Lehigh Valley Community Foundation (LVCF) in 2023 and serves as Director of Donor Initiatives. In this role, she works with donors, fundholders, families, and professional advisors to support meaningful philanthropy and help align charitable giving strategies with donor intent and community needs. Her current work focuses on planned giving, donor stewardship, and collaboration with professional advisors to develop strategies that help individuals and families create lasting charitable impact through LVCF.
A Lehigh Valley native, Maureen values giving back to the community where she grew up. She has served on the Communications Committee of Resilient Lehigh Valley and the Northampton County Suicide Task Force, currently serves on the Board of Associates of Muhlenberg College, and serves on the Board of Directors of Wildlands Conservancy.
Maureen holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® designation through The American College of Financial Services and earned a B.S. in Marketing and Sales from DeSales University.
