The Allentown Band, Inc. Endowment Fund
Established in 2019, the Allentown Band, Inc. Endowment Fund will help to sustain the Band’s future contributions to the cultural fabric of the Lehigh Valley for generations to come.
A prominent feature of 19th-century musical Americana is the concert band, and the Allentown Band has for almost 200 years, kept that tradition alive. Drawn from within a fifty-mile radius of eastern Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, the band’s musicians, as different as their backgrounds may be, share one common goal: to create and preserve concert band music at a level of excellence rarely heard from a community band.
The Allentown Band’s ongoing mission is to preserve and advance the heritage of concert band music by providing quality, inspiring performances, and education in partnership with the community and beyond.
