Theatre Organ Arts Fund

This beautifully restored 1922 Wurlitzer 3 manual 23 rank theater organ is located at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville PA.

Established in 2002, the Theatre Organ Arts Fund reflects the donor’s interest in and commitment to preservation of this iconic instrument that was part of the American cultural landscape for decades.  The Fund provides grants to The Theatre Organ Society of the Delaware Valley, Inc. to further its programs and purposes, including but not limited to: offsetting the costs of organ installation; professional services for rebuilding, tuning and servicing of organs; replacement of missing or damaged parts; scholarship aid to organ students from the Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey area; promotional expenses of the Chapter; subsidizing concert expenses for public concerts (beyond gate receipts only, unless the concert is free); assisting programs to rehabilitate and place donated organs with schools and with deserving students; and any other idea that is a logical extension of the mission of the American Theatre Organ Society.
