DonorCentral to MyFund Portal

A Message to our Fundholders

Transitioning from DonorCentral to MyFund Portal

In the August 2023 issue of Cause Connection eNewsletter, we announced that the Community Foundation is implementing a major technology upgrade by replacing our previous accounting and database system with CommunitySuite or CSuite, developed by Foundant Technologies.

The implementation of this new system will require us to temporarily halt our ability to process grant requests and gifts from September 29 until approximately October 10, 2023. Grant requests may be received online or any other way after September 29 and they will be marked pending in DonorCentral. Gifts to the fund will not show during this time. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience, but it is necessary as we migrate our historical data, validate and test the system before going live in the new system.

Here are the details (for more see the chart below)

• Fundholders should continue using DonorCentral to submit grant recommendations until MyFund is launched.

• Grant recommendations received by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, will be processed and paid by September 29.

• LVCF will pause grant payment processing of all grant recommendations received between September 27-October 10 as we transition to CSuite. Fundholders can continue to submit grant recommendations in Donor Central and they will be processed after October 10.

• DonorCentral will not reflect payment approval statuses or send automatic grant approval emails after September 29.

• Gifts to funds will be processed as usual, but will not be reflected in DonorCentral after September 29th. Gift history will be available through the MyFund Portal when it is launched.

Once we are ready to make the switch, our current online DonorCentral Portal will be replaced by the CSuite-powered MyFund Portal on the LVCF website that you will use to manage your grantmaking and charitable contributions. You will be alerted to an email that will be generated by CSuite in October that will invite you to set-up your password and show you how to navigate the system. We’ll provide detailed step-by-step instructions for setting up your password and share a video that will take you on a virtual tour of the new online portal. We’ll also have staff available to address any issue that may arise as you get familiar with the MyFund portal.
