Getting Started with MyFund

A Portal Built for Fundholders

Manage Your Fund with the LVCF MyFund Portal

The Lehigh Valley Community is pleased to host an online system designed to align with our highest priority: Supporting our fundholders on their philanthropic journey to benefit the community. Our fund portal titled, MyFund, replaces LVCF’s DonorCentral. This new donor advisor/manager interface is built on industry standards that offer an efficient and intuitive platform for your grantmaking and fund management.

The new MyFund portal is live as of November 1. On that date, authorized contacts for funds of the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation will have received an e-mail with instructions on how to create a custom password. If you are an authorized fund contact and did not receive that email, please check your spam or junk e-mail folder. Please delete this automated email once you have successfully completed this process. The link contained in the email should only be used once, for establishing your initial password.

Getting Started with MyFund

Our staff has worked diligently to migrate our database and is excited about its ease-of-use and functionality, but we know that any change can be challenging to navigate. As you explore the portal, we anticipate that you may still have questions or need assistance, and we are here for you. To better serve you and to provide the latest information, we have developed a quick-reference guide and additional resources, which can be found below, to support your use of the MyFund portal.

Important Steps

Establish Your Password | You will receive an email from sender no-reply@fcsuite.com, with “The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation” referenced in the email’s subject line. Follow the instructions to create a password for your account. Take note of your username (which is your email address) and password as you complete this process.

Access the Portal | To access the portal at any time, simply go to www.lvcfoundation.org and click “MyFund button” in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage. Enter your username and password, and then select the fund you’d like to review.

Take a Look Around | The main screen provides an at-a-glance summary of the fund. You will also see the current spendable balance, updated in real-time, an overview of grants and contributions, and the current fund advisors will be indicated just below the balance. Note that each person listed as a Fund Advisor will have similar access to the Advisor Portal. If you are a fund advisor with access to more than one fund, you’ll be able to select the fund you wish to manage at the initial screen.

Use the Portal | Log in to check the balance of your fund, recommend a grant, track contributions and disbursements made from your fund, and access fund statements.

MyFund Portal Overview and FAQ for Fund Advisors

The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation’s online portal was designed so that fund advisors have secure, 24/7 access to monitor their fund and recommend grants using an intuitive online platform.

Our staff has worked diligently to ensure MyFund Portal’s ease-of-use and functionality, but we know that any change can be challenging to navigate. As you explore the portal, we anticipate that you may still have questions and have tried to anticipate many of those in this document,

MyFund Portal Overview and FAQ for Fund Advisors

Document updated November 7, 2023

Please note: When will my grant be processed?

Grant payments are typically processed within 7-10 business days of your recommendation, although it may take longer when further due diligence is required for a grantee. When possible, payments are made via an efficient and secure ACH transfer directly to the grantee’s bank account. If payment cannot be remitted via ACH, a check will be processed. Delivery of grants paid by check is dependent upon the postal service and a range of factors beyond our control. You will receive an email confirmation once the grant has been approved for payment, but you are always able to check the status of a grant via the portal or by emailing LVCF Grants Manager, Holly Fitzpatrick, holly@lvcfoundation.org
